This National Work Life Week, we take a look at the importance of taking a well-earned break and how an artisan coffee can be the pick-me-up we all need.

Working life can be tough – we all know the fast-paced pressures that make up the modern-day working world. But work should never get in the way of your mental health.

That’s what National Work Life Week (Oct 10 - 14) is all about – taking the time to care for your wellbeing and focusing on that ideal work-life balance. A trip to Sarah’s Coffee Shop could be the perfect choice.

Taking a break

The beautiful thing about sitting down with a cup of coffee is that it can be both the perfect time to take a break from the world around you and enjoy some peace and quiet – or to enjoy the company of those around you.

Taking the time to unwind is so important for your mental health. A nice slice of cake can help put a smile on your face, too.

We all live busy lives these days and it is becoming increasingly hard for all of us to find that time to have a break. I’m sure everyone reading this blog has felt pressured to take a shorter lunch break and forfeit venturing out of the office due to looming deadlines or time constraints.

Indeed, this is something I have faced personally back when I was in an office role.

Hybrid working

If your business offers hybrid working and you’re in need of a change of scenery, why not pop in and see us?

Our friendly team love seeing new faces pop in. In fact, making those new relationships with our amazing clientele is the best thing about our job!

We look forward to meeting you at Sarah’s Coffee Shop soon!

If you’re in need of mental health support, the NHS and a wealth of charities are here to help. You can find your local provider here.
